Along with national (CDC), state (DHHS) and local health officials, Buchanan Healthcare Center is monitoring the outbreak of the viral infection known as COVID-19 (coronavirus disease-2019). We have put preventive measures in place to help ensure the safety of our residents, staff, and visitors, and our staff has been educated and trained to best respond to any potential cases.

If you have traveled to an area where COVID-19 is occurring (see the CDC list of affected countries here) OR if you have been in contact with someone who has recently traveled to these countries, please be aware of any possible symptoms (see list here).

If you suspect that you may be ill, please call YOUR health care professional who will work with the state’s health department and the CDC to determine if you need to be tested.
